Our chef de cuisine, Alois, pays loving attention to detail to ensure you enjoy your meal, and of course also uses seasonal products to delight your taste buds. Whether asparagus, chanterelle mushrooms, fresh trout, or Kaiserschmarrn (thick, fluffy pancake with raisins, cut into pieces), you are certain to find something to suit your taste in our extensive menu. As an accompaniment to your meal we will happily serve you fresh draft beer from the Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden and then one (or several) Schnäpse (spirits) from the local Enzianbrennerei Grassl distillery.
We have an open ear for special requests.
We also offer the perfect setting for your family or business event. Our restaurant can accommodate up to 70 people; the cosy lounge with its tiled stove can host around 20 people.
From our sunny terrace you can enjoy the view of the Watzmann, the Hochkalter and the Reiteralpe. The east-facing tables are particularly popular with families, as they offer an unobstructed view of the children's playground.
